How it will work

Every athlete gets one token. Fans trade it, and the trading fees split automatically between the athlete, a nightly pool for breakout performances, and a burn of $BALL.

  1. The Draft

    Back any athlete with $BALL. When enough fans back him, a 24-hour clock starts and his token launches at one price for everyone. No auction, no winner, no insiders.

  2. Trade athlete tokens

    One token per athlete, and nobody's name gets used for free. He gets a cut of every trade, held for him until he claims it, or sent to a cause he picks.

  3. Roster who you hold

    Your wallet is your roster. Hold an athlete's token through the final buzzer and he scores for you. Free paper rosters play on the same leaderboard.

  4. Everybody gets paid

    Every athlete who beats his average by enough gets a share of the nightly Game Ball pool. The best rosters win $BALL, token bags and a share of the season pot.

Beat your own baseline

Athletes are scored against their own recent form, not against each other. A bench player's breakout beats a superstar's ordinary night, so knowing the whole league matters more than owning the biggest names.

Stars still earn the most from their own token's trading fees. The pool is where everyone else gets their night.

    The top rosters win $BALL every night, free paper rosters included.

  • A second way to play

    Lock $BALL behind a player to roster him without holding his token. Reduced in-app swap fees and a holder badge on the leaderboard.
